Use the official download page, Windows signed metadata and Linux channel. Keep the exact installer and its matching verification material together. A different version still shown by a channel is not the 2.1.2.1 package. Microsoft Store distribution is separate.
Digital Design Studio
ALcad is a dedicated CAD interface inside Digital Design Studio. Install one application and switch workspaces from its menu. Check available capabilities against the release you download.
ISA is a workflow inside Digital Design Studio; it is not a separate application or installer. The Linux package can retain the filename altifigence-systemverilog-ide_<version>_amd64.deb and launcher altifigence-ide for compatibility. Keep the published filename when verifying its signature.
Verify and Install
Choose Linux installation or Windows installation. First follow Verify downloads, then open a small project and confirm that an edit saves and survives a reopen. First launch explains account access. Back up project files before updating.
Updates
Save work and back up project files first. Use the Windows in-app update when it is offered, or download and verify the current platform installer. Keep the previous verified installer until the new version opens and saves your projects. Follow Update, move and roll back. Windows includes its own bundled command; the separately installed Linux CLI updates independently. Matching display versions across platforms do not prove matching source or execution support.
