Analyze saved RTL in Cloud#

Estimate and run one saved RTL source, recover its job and keep a verified result with the project.

Prepare the saved source#

Use a Cloud project that exposes Saved RTL analysis and permits the operation. Save the .sv or .v file and identify its top module. The analysis reads the saved project version, not unsaved editor text. This workflow reports supported structural metrics such as generic cell count and logic depth.

Estimate before running#

  1. Open the analysis setup and locate Saved RTL analysis.

  2. Select Saved RTL source, enter Top module, and choose Area or Logic depth.

  3. Select Estimate RTL analysis.

  4. Review maximum QUOTA, time limit, policy, saved revision and source hash.

  5. If the source or selected project changes, save it and obtain a new estimate before submission.

Run and inspect#

  1. Choose Run saved RTL analysis after reviewing the estimate.

  2. Follow the queued/running/completed state. Use Refresh analysis to read the existing job when needed.

  3. Read synthesis status, generic cells, logic levels, the chosen objective and each diagnostic.

  4. Check whether the result says Verified and saved or Verified result · not yet saved to this project.

  5. Use Saved analysis results to reopen a persisted result without starting a new job.

Unavailable schematic, Roofline or external metrics remain unavailable even when the structural calculation succeeds. Generic structural metrics are not measured silicon area, characterized timing or manufacturing signoff.

Recover, save or cancel#

Situation

Action

Submission reply was lost

Inspect/recover the remembered job; do not create another job merely to retry the screen.

Computation succeeded but saving failed

Use Retry saving result or Recover completed result. Confirm the saved path afterward.

Job is queued or running

Cancel analysis requests cancellation; keep reading state until it settles.

Input, permission or policy changed

Read current project state, correct the cause and review a fresh estimate.

Keep the original source, estimate/job identity and complete result. See Projects and runners for runtime controls and Accounts and billing for usage interpretation.
