Local project files
A local project lives in the folder you choose. Saving a file writes it to the current local project. Project settings are stored in .alti/ide-settings.json inside that project.
The bundled example lives in the app-owned local data folder, under example-projects-v1/counter-example. If that folder already exists, opening the example again reuses that copy and keeps your edits.
App state and IDE settings
Recent-project records are stored in the app's local data folder. When WebView storage is available, the app remembers your choice to continue as a guest there.
IDE settings are separate from project settings. By default, Windows stores IDE settings at %APPDATA%\altifigence-ide\.alti\ide-settings.json.
Saved sign-in
The app stores the credential used to restore sign-in in the operating system's credential store, separately from your project files.
Local tools and account services have separate access checks.
