Analog and digital circuit analysis
Choose the circuit document and calculation that match your analog or digital design.
In ALcad on Cloud 2.1.2.10 and Windows 2.1.2.3, analog and digital documents have their own circuit calculations.

Choose a circuit document
For an analog schematic, choose File → New analog circuit on Cloud or New analog circuit on the Schematic toolbar on Windows. For a digital schematic, use File → New digital circuit on Cloud or New digital circuit on the same Windows toolbar.
Analog calculations
For an analog circuit, Circuit analysis offers DC operating point, AC frequency sweep and Transient step response. DC gives node voltages and branch currents; the RLC modes give frequency or time responses.
These calculations use your account's browser analysis access and run on your computer.
Digital calculations
For a digital circuit, choose Time waveform to inspect signals over time or Truth table to inspect input combinations. With a valid circuit and browser analysis access, use Run digital simulation or Run truth table for the selected mode.
Keep the circuit document
With a circuit active, choose File → Download circuit on Cloud or Download circuit on the Schematic toolbar on Windows to keep the circuit as an .alcad-circuit.json document.
