Review and commit Cloud changes

Review saved Cloud file changes, stage a selection and commit it.

In Cloud, open a project with an active, connected workspace and permission to change its files. Save your edits before comparing them.

Review changes

  1. Press Ctrl+Shift+P and choose “Show Source Control”.

  2. Choose “Refresh”. Read “Staged”, “Changes” and “Untracked” to find the files you want.

  3. Select a file row to open its comparison. “Staged” compares HEAD with the index; “Changes” compares HEAD with the saved working file.

Commit a selection

  1. Use “Stage” beside a file in “Changes” or “Untracked”. Check that it appears in “Staged”.

  2. To remove a file from the selection, use “Unstage” beside it in “Staged”.

  3. Enter “Commit message”, then choose “Commit”. The button becomes available when a message and staged files are present.

  4. Choose “Refresh” to read the updated status.
