Read your effective access
Understand the role badge and the admin sections available in the selected team organization.
Your effective permissions determine which sections and actions you can use in the Cloud admin window for the selected team organization.
Base role and effective permissions
The badge beside the organization shows your base role. The admin window reads your current effective permissions from the account service. These permissions combine the organization's base role permissions with permissions assigned through individual and group roles.
Use the sections shown in the menu to see which parts of administration your current permissions allow. Each section and each action has its own permission check.
Read the current organization
Check the organization shown in the admin window before reviewing its sections. The window reads access for the organization selected in Cloud.
The menu follows the effective permissions returned for that organization. When a section address requires different permissions, the window opens your first permitted section. If you need access, follow the organization administrator guidance shown in the window.
