  • 2. https://mcp.altifigence.com/cloud-mcp → 3. Saved Cloud project files: Authorized reads
  • 4. MCP client → 5. alti-mcp · ALTI_MCP_MODE=local-xls: stdio

Connect to Cloud

Use https://mcp.altifigence.com/cloud-mcp as the remote endpoint. The transport is Streamable HTTP with OAuth.

Complete the authorization flow offered by your client. Check the account, organization and requested read tools before approving. Then refresh the tool list and verify your identity, accessible projects and a small saved-file read.

Use an installed stdio process

For a client that launches a local MCP executable, use stdio with the installed alti-mcp command from Altifigence CLI (Linux x86_64).

Set ALTI_MCP_MODE=local-xls in that process environment. This mode provides a fixed set of local XLS tools and sends nothing to Cloud. See the Altifigence CLI guide for setup.

Verify your choice

For a remote connection, check the endpoint, then verify your identity, accessible projects and a small saved-file read.

For stdio, check the alti-mcp executable and ALTI_MCP_MODE=local-xls, then refresh the tool list and confirm that it lists the local XLS tools.
