Connect circuit pins

Draw wires between pins and check their electrical nets in ALcad.

Use these steps in an open analog or digital circuit drawing in ALcad on Cloud or Windows.

Connect two pins

  1. Choose Connect circuit pins in the toolbar.

  2. Click the first pin. The status bar shows Select the second pin.

  3. Click the second pin to create the wire.

  4. Repeat for each connection, then choose Cancel circuit tool to leave the wiring tool.

Check the connection

  1. Select the wire. If the properties panel is closed, choose Show Properties.

  2. Check From pin, To pin and Net.

  3. Select a component and check Pins and nets to see each pin’s net.

For an analog circuit, connect a component pin to the Ground pin named 0. Check that the connected pin’s Net is 0.

Delete a wire

Select the wire, then choose Delete circuit selection in the toolbar.
