Export digital results

Download time-waveform results as CSV and truth-table results as JSON or CSV.

Use ALcad in Cloud 2.1.2.10 or the Windows app 2.1.2.3. To run a digital simulation or truth table, sign in and select an organization with an active paid plan and access to digital simulation.

Export time-waveform results

  1. Open a digital circuit. In Digital analysis, choose Time waveform.

  2. Choose Run digital simulation and wait for the results.

  3. Choose Download digital result CSV. The file contains sample times, signal names and values, and the input and engine hashes.

  4. To keep a result you can reopen in ALcad, also choose Download digital result JSON.

Export truth-table results

  1. In Digital analysis, choose Truth table.

  2. Choose Run truth table and wait for the table.

  3. Choose Download truth-table CSV to save the input and output rows, or Download truth-table JSON to keep a result you can reopen in ALcad.

Reopen a JSON result

  1. Open the same digital circuit with the same settings. In Digital analysis, choose the mode used for the saved result.

  2. Choose Open saved digital results and select the downloaded JSON file. ALcad checks it against the current circuit, settings and recorded engine identity before displaying the result.
