Set SPICE analysis options

Choose the analysis and inputs for the current analog schematic.

Set the analysis

  1. Open an analog schematic.

  2. In Circuit analysis, choose SPICE · schematic.

  3. If the Properties panel is hidden, choose Show Properties. Expand SPICE analysis, choose Analysis type, and fill in the fields shown.

  4. Choose Apply analysis settings to apply the settings to the schematic.

Choose the inputs

  • DC operating point: Circuit temperature.

  • DC source sweep: Sweep source, Sweep start, Sweep stop, Sweep step.

  • AC frequency sweep: Frequency scale, Frequency points, Start frequency, Stop frequency.

  • Transient analysis: Time step, Stop time.

  • DC temperature sweep: Sweep start, Sweep stop, Sweep step.

  • DC resistance sweep: Sweep resistor, Sweep start, Sweep stop, Sweep step.

  • Small-signal noise: Noise input source, Noise output net, Noise reference net, Frequency scale, Frequency points, Start frequency, Stop frequency.

Review the input

In the same Properties panel, expand Generated SPICE input to review the generated netlist.
