Editable circuits and analysis results
Keep the circuit you edit and the results you want to review.
An editable circuit records the parts and connections you work on. An analysis result records a calculation for a particular circuit and its input settings.

Keep the editable circuit
In Cloud and Windows, choose Download circuit to keep the current circuit as an editable .alcad-circuit.json file. It contains the circuit's parts, connections and saved document settings.
Refresh results after editing
After editing the circuit or changing its analysis settings, run the analysis again to display a result for the new input.
Keep a result for review
For a digital time simulation, choose Download digital result JSON. For an RLC analysis, choose Download RLC result JSON. These reports record the circuit, input and result together.
To review a report, open its matching circuit and restore the matching settings, then choose Open saved digital results or Open saved RLC results. ALcad checks that the saved report matches the current circuit, settings and simulation engine before displaying it.
