Fix a digital simulation input or saved result

Correct the reported duration or input-change entry, or open a result that matches the current circuit.

Use these checks for an editable digital circuit in ALcad in Cloud 2.1.2.10 or the Windows app 2.1.2.3. In Digital analysis, choose Time waveform. Open View → Panels → Properties, then expand Digital simulation to read the message.

Correct the duration

For “The simulation duration must be positive.”, enter a positive value in Duration (s), such as 2, then choose Run digital simulation.

Correct the input changes

For “Each stimulus line needs time in seconds and bits.”, use the button beside the reference of the input you are editing to expand Input changes. Put one time and one bit string on each line. For a one-bit input with duration 2 seconds, 1 1 sets the input to 1 at one second.

For “Input change times must increase after zero and not exceed duration.”, put the changes in increasing time order, with each time greater than zero and at or before the duration. Then choose Run digital simulation.

Open a matching saved result

For “The saved digital report does not match the current circuit and settings.”, choose Open saved digital results and select a report saved for the current circuit and settings.

To create a new matching report, choose Run digital simulation, then Download digital result JSON after the run completes.
