Reopen a saved design-to-wafer result
Open a project result to review its design, geometry, yield estimates and lot summary.
Open the saved result
In Cloud or Windows 2.1.2.3, Design to wafer can reopen a result saved in the connected source project. Use this to review the inputs and lot summary from an earlier run. The project must provide available process files.
From the product menu, select vFactory → Wafer Process & Fab, then select Design to wafer.
Under Reopen project result, find Design to wafer documents.
Choose the saved result. Select Refresh documents to update the list when needed.
Select Open saved result. Wait for Verified project result reopened.
Review the restored result
The page restores the saved source, inputs, wafer geometry and lot summary. Check Source project, GDS path, Structure and Source SHA-256 to identify the design.
Read Geometry and yield estimate for the die count and yield probabilities. In Lot completion and delivery, review the lot rows, Completed wafers, expected good dies and Overall delivery. Engine SHA-256 records the engine digest saved with the result.
The application checks the project receipt and saved content before accepting the result. Reopening restores the saved summary. It is a separate action from running the lot simulation.
Start a new run
To calculate a new lot simulation from the displayed inputs, select Run design to wafer. After that run completes, Follow lot {lot} in the 3D fab opens its event replay. The lot identifier in the button identifies the lot being followed.
Saved to project: confirms the saved result and shows its project path. A new run saves its result when the connected source project provides available process files.
Use vFactory: explore a fab and follow a design to wafer
Open the reference fab in vFactory
The reference fab uses synthetic process assumptions. Results are model estimates.
