Save process inputs and export results
Keep the current process inputs, or export a computed result with the inputs used for that run.
Save the current inputs
From the product menu, select vFactory → Wafer Process & Fab, then select Process models. In Model, choose Wafer process or Fab simulation and prepare the inputs you want to keep.
Select Save input in the toolbar.
In Cloud, the browser downloads alcad-process-input.json. In the Windows desktop app, choose the location in the save dialog and save the JSON file.
The file contains the selected model kind and its current inputs. If you are editing JSON, that text supplies the saved input. You can save inputs before running the model.
Export a computed result
Select Run simulation and wait for the result.
Select Export results. In Cloud, the browser downloads alcad-process-result.json. In the Windows desktop app, choose the destination in the save dialog.
The result file contains input and result entries. Its input entry records the inputs used to compute that result. If you have changed the form since the run, use Run simulation again when you want an export for those updated inputs.
Run saved inputs again
In Process models, select Import input.
Choose your saved alcad-process-input.json file. Its contents appear under Model input JSON.
Review or edit the JSON, then select Run simulation.
For a project document saved with Save process to project, use Open process from project in the same project. That path opens the saved process document, including its recorded execution when one was saved. The project-file controls appear when project document storage is available.
Run your first process model in vFactory
Example inputs are synthetic assumptions. Results simulate the supplied model, not measured production data.
