Save a seeded fab input and result

Save the current seeded v2 input, export a completed run and reopen the saved input.

Prepare the input

In Cloud and Windows 2.1.2.3, select vFactory → Wafer Process & Fab from the product menu, choose Process models, and select Seeded fab simulation (v2) in Model.

  1. Review the model inputs. For section JSON edits, select Apply section to keep the changes or Discard section edits to return to the current section.

  2. Finish any active import, simulation or EUV timing operation before saving.

Save the input

  1. Select Save input.

  2. Keep the downloaded vfactory-fab-v2-input.json file.

  3. To reopen it, select Import fab data in the seeded model and choose the saved input JSON.

Export a completed run

The input file stores the current seeded model and its EUV timing metadata when present. The result export stores the executed input, engine SHA-256, result and the run’s EUV timing metadata when present.

  1. Select Run simulation and wait for the result.

  2. Select Export results and keep the downloaded vfactory-fab-v2-result.json file.

  3. If Inputs changed appears, run the updated model before exporting a result for those inputs.
