Fab model
Look up the synthetic reference model and the structure and values accepted for a fab layout import.
This reference applies to vFactory in Cloud 2.1.2.10 and Windows 2.1.2.3.
Reference fab opens the reference model or a fab-model JSON file. Open Fab settings and expand Fab setup to reach the model controls.
Reference model
Choose Reference tools and select Open reference fab. Select Export simulation model to save the reference model for the fab simulator.

Imported model structure
Import fab layout accepts JSON with schema altifigence.fab-model/v1 or altifigence.fab-model/v2. The model can be the root object, the model of a complete import with complete: true, or the input of a document with kind set to fab or fab-v2.
The model provides a name, equipment groups and routes. Group IDs and route IDs are unique. Each group has positive whole-number capacity. Each route has an operations list, and each operation’s equipmentId refers to an existing group.
Accepted layout input
The imported model opens as an automatically arranged layout preview. The fab simulator validates process parameters before running the model.
