Replay lots and tool states
Play a recorded fab run, choose a simulation time and inspect the state of a lot or tool.
Replay a completed fab simulation to inspect lot movement and tool states at a chosen simulation time.
Use these steps in Cloud or the Windows app. Playback follows the recorded events of a completed fab simulation.
Open recorded playback
For opening vFactory and checking model inputs, see Run your first process model in vFactory.
Open the Process models tab in vFactory. In Model, choose Seeded fab simulation (v2).
Review the model inputs, then select Run simulation.
After the run completes with a full event recording, find the fab scene below the computed results. Select Fab settings (the gear button) in its toolbar.
Control the simulation time
Select Play simulation to advance the recorded run. While it plays, select Pause simulation to hold the displayed time.
Change Playback speed to adjust how quickly the simulation clock advances.
Drag Simulation time (s) to inspect another time. For an exact time, enter a value in Seek to seconds and press Enter. Moving to another time pauses playback.
Select Restart playback to return to time zero. Select Play simulation when you are ready to continue.
Playback of a completed Seeded fab simulation (v2) run, moved to 1500 s with Seek to seconds.
Inspect lots and tools
In Playback lot inspector, choose an ID in My lot, or enter the full ID in Find lot by exact ID. Read its State, Current operation (1-based) and Completed operations at the displayed time.
In Playback tool inspector, use Inspect playback tool to choose an equipment slot. Read State, Current batch lots and Equipment group queue. Selecting a tool leaves the highlighted lot selected.
The tool inspector shows the selected tool's state, current batch and queue at the displayed playback time.
Switch between 2D map and 3D map in the scene toolbar to inspect the same event time and tool slots in either view.
Example inputs are synthetic assumptions. Results simulate the supplied model, not measured production data.
