Rename a Cloud project

Change a saved project's name and address name, then check its updated details.

Use an account with the Owner or Admin role in the project's organization to follow these steps.

Use Project settings to change an existing Cloud project's name. You can also change its address name.

Rename a project

  1. Sign in to Cloud. On the dashboard, choose Manage projects.

  2. In Project list, check the organization shown above the list and select the project you want to rename.

  3. Open Project settings. Check the current project name, then edit Name. To change the address name too, edit Address name.

  4. Keep both fields filled in and choose Save. Wait for the save to finish.

Check the updated project

  1. Expand Details in Project settings. Check the saved project name, Address name and project ID. If you changed the address name, check the project address shown there too.

  2. Return to Project list and check the updated project entry.

To open the project, follow Open a saved Cloud project.
