Arrange side-panel tabs and groups

Add views, split side-panel groups and move tabs into a useful layout.

These steps apply to Cloud 2.1.2.11 and Digital Design Studio 2.1.2.3 for Windows. Open your project in Digital Design Studio.

Add and select views

In a side-panel header, choose Add View and select the view you need.
Select a tab to show its view. With two or more tabs in the group, use Open tabs to choose from the list.

Add at least two tabs to a group. Right-click the tab you want to separate and choose Split into group above or Split into group below.
Right-click a tab and choose Move to left panel or Move to right panel to move it to the other side panel.
With a group above or below, choose Move to group above or Move to group below to move the tab into that group.
You can also drag a tab onto another group’s tab strip to place it there, or onto the upper or lower part of a group to split it.

Drag the divider between groups to adjust their heights. Double-click it to give both groups equal space.
For keyboard control, focus the Resize panel groups divider and press Up or Down.
Right-click a tab and choose Close tab when you are finished.
