Format a file and toggle line comments

Format a JSON file and add or remove line comments in a source file in Digital Design Studio.

Use these commands in an editable file in Digital Design Studio on Cloud or Windows.

Format a document

  1. Open a JSON file and click inside its editor.

  2. Press Ctrl+Shift+P to open the Command Palette.

  3. Type Format Document and select the command.

Toggle line comments

  1. In a file whose language supports line comments, place the cursor on a line or select several lines.

  2. Press Ctrl+/ to toggle line comments for those lines.

  3. To use the Command Palette, press Ctrl+Shift+P, type Toggle line comment, and select the command.
