Open your project in Visual Studio Code

Add the VS Code integration and open your saved project files from Digital Design Studio on Windows.

Use Digital Design Studio 2.1.2.3 for Windows with a saved project stored on this PC. Install Visual Studio Code separately on this computer.

Add the VS Code integration

  1. Open the project you want to use in DDS and save your changes.

  2. Choose View > Project Manager > Plugins.

  3. Choose VS Code integration, then choose Install.

  4. If you installed Visual Studio Code while DDS was open, choose Refresh to check its availability.

Open the current project

  1. In the integration details, choose Open the current project in Visual Studio Code. You can also choose VS Code in the workspace header after installing the integration.

  2. Visual Studio Code opens the current project folder in a new window.
