Summarize passive SPEF resistance and capacitance

Read net, resistor and capacitance counts and capacitance totals from a saved SPEF input.

Use a Cloud 2.1.2.10 project or a Local project in Digital Design Studio for Windows 2.1.2.3. Sign in with an active paid plan and select an organization with access to SPEF computation. The calculation runs on this device.

Summarize the saved SPEF

  1. Save the SPEF file in your project.

  2. In Flow Navigator, expand Analysis and choose SPEF RC analysis.

  3. Enter the saved path in SPEF input.

  4. Choose Summarize passive R/C.

Read the summary

Read Nets, Resistors and Cap records for the counts. Read Declared capacitance, Grounded capacitance and Coupling capacitance for the totals in farads.

Use Request SHA-256 and Input SHA-256 to identify the calculation and saved input.
