Import and apply a theme XML file

Load a theme XML file, review its colors and apply it in Digital Design Studio on Windows or Cloud.

Import the XML file

Have a Digital Design Studio theme XML file ready. These steps apply in the Windows app and Cloud.

  1. Open Settings. Under General, select Appearance.

  2. In Theme, select Import XML and choose the XML file.

  3. Wait for “XML loaded. Review the colors, then apply.” The imported theme is ready to review.

Review the theme

  1. Check Theme name.

  2. Switch between Light palette and Dark palette to inspect the colors and preview. Change a color if needed.

  3. Check Appearance and choose System, Light or Dark for the theme.

Apply the theme

  1. Below the color preview, select Apply.

  2. Check for “Theme applied.” and review the appearance of the workspace.

To discard the imported changes without applying them, select Discard changes.

For a copy of the theme XML, select Export XML.
