Save and reopen an FDTD2D result

Save a completed FDTD2D result in the project and open its JSON file again.

Use a Cloud 2.1.2.10 project or a Local project in Digital Design Studio for Windows 2.1.2.3 with write access and a completed FDTD2D simulation on this device's CPU.

Save the result

  1. In the FDTD2D simulation view, choose Save result.

  2. Read the saved path shown. The result is saved in the project as fdtd2d-result-<requestId>.json.

Reopen the saved result

  1. Open Analysis in the activity rail, choose New analysis, then FDTD2D.

  2. In Workspace-relative FDTD2D request, enter the saved result JSON path.

  3. Choose Open saved result.

  4. Review the electric field, probe trace and energy drift in FDTD2D result.
