Choose waveform signals from a module

Find signal candidates in saved RTL and select individual signals or a whole group.

Use these steps in Digital Design Studio in Cloud 2.1.2.11 or Windows 2.1.2.3. Open a project with saved Verilog or SystemVerilog source.

Open the module's signal list

  1. In Explorer, switch to Hierarchy and expand the module tree.

  2. Right-click an RTL module or an instance and choose Open waveform.

Choose signals

  1. In Waveform signals, use Search signals... to search for part of a signal name or scope.

  2. Expand a group with its arrow. Click a signal to add it, or use the group's plus button to add its signals.

  3. Clear the search to browse other groups.

The signal candidates are read from the saved source. When no waveform is loaded, the viewer displays its empty state.
