Preview a Markdown file

Open a Markdown file and read its rendered content beside the editor.

These steps apply to Cloud 2.1.2.11 and Digital Design Studio 2.1.2.3 for Windows. Open your project in Digital Design Studio.

Open the preview

  1. Open a .md, .markdown or .mdx file in the editor.

  2. Press Ctrl+Shift+P to open Command Palette, then choose Open Markdown Preview.

  3. Read the rendered content in the Markdown preview side-panel tab.

Edit and read

The preview follows the active Markdown file and uses its current editor content.

  1. Edit the Markdown text and read the updated preview.

  2. Select another Markdown file to preview its content.
