Read file properties

Check the focused file’s name, path, saved state and cursor position.

These steps apply to Cloud 2.1.2.11 and Digital Design Studio 2.1.2.3 for Windows. Open your project in Digital Design Studio.

Open file properties

  1. Open a file and click in its editor.

  2. In a side-panel header, choose Add View, then Properties.

  3. Read Name and Path to identify the focused file.

  4. Read State: Modified marks an edited file; Saved marks a file without unsaved changes.

Check the cursor and workspace

Workspace shows the current workspace name when one is available.

  1. Click another position in the file, then read Cursor for its line and column.

  2. When using split editors, click the file you want to inspect; Properties follows the focused editor group.
