Read and fix RTL problems on Windows

Find a reported RTL diagnostic, open its source line and check the list after editing in the Windows app.

Open Problems

Use a writable local RTL project in the Windows app. For the project and window controls, see the workspace guide.

  1. In the bottom panel, choose Add tool, then Problems.

  2. Read the file path above each group. Each diagnostic shows its Type, Code, Message and Line.

  3. Select a file group header to collapse or expand its diagnostics.

Find a diagnostic

  1. Use Search problems to filter by a diagnostic code, message or file path.

  2. Read the Error, Warning or Info label and the message for the reported line.

  3. Clear the search to show the full list again.

Open the source and edit

  1. Select a diagnostic row. The editor opens its file and moves the cursor to the reported line.

  2. Read the surrounding source and edit the file to address the message.

  3. Allow the diagnostic list to refresh after the edit, then check the remaining messages.
