Open a saved Cloud project and check your changes

Choose a saved project in your organization, edit an existing text file and reopen it to check the saved change.

Open a saved Cloud project, save a small change and reopen the file to check it. Choose a project and text file you have permission to edit.

Open a saved project

  1. Sign in to Cloud. Find Projects in the navigation panel. If projects are grouped by organization, expand the organization that owns your project.

  2. Select the project name to see its windows. Open an existing DDS window, or choose DDS to open a new design window.

  3. Confirm the project name. Open Explorer, expand the file folders and select an existing text file. Check its path before editing.

Save a change

  1. Make a small change you can recognize. The file tab shows a dot while it has unsaved changes.

  2. Press Ctrl+S with the file active. This is the default save shortcut. You can also press Ctrl+Shift+P and select Save File.

  3. Wait for the save to finish and check that the unsaved dot clears.

Reopen and check the saved file

  1. Close the saved file tab and open the same path again from Explorer.

  2. Reload the Cloud page. Return to the same organization and project, open its DDS window and open the same file.

  3. Check that your change is present and the file has no unsaved dot.

See Getting started for a first file, or Cloud projects and access for project settings and access.
